Rio Tinto proudly supports the Ngarluma Cultural Awareness Training (CAT) program. We provide a range of learning opportunities and resources to help individuals and organisations engage respectfully and knowledgeably with Ngarluma culture.

Four training options.
1. Ngarluma CAT Online.
$250 per online session (pay-per-view).
Access the Ngarluma Cultural Awareness Training from anywhere, anytime. This online module offers a self-paced introduction to Ngarluma culture, history, and protocols. Ideal for individuals or small teams seeking a flexible learning option.
2. VR CAT Experience.
$2,000 per group of up to six participants.
Immerse yourself in Ngarluma country through our Virtual Reality Cultural Awareness Training. This interactive experience allows participants to explore cultural sites and gain deeper insight into Ngarluma traditions and stories. Perfect for teams wanting a hands-on, engaging experience.
3. Premium Group Package.
$4,000 per group.
The ultimate Ngarluma Cultural Awareness experience. This package is for organisations or groups who want a comprehensive, interactive, and in-depth cultural awareness experience, and combines:

Start your event or gathering with a traditional Welcome to Country performed by Ngarluma Elders. This ceremonial introduction acknowledges country and welcomes participants with cultural respect.
